48 Rainy Hours in New Orleans

If you are looking for the Ultimate Guide to Traveling to New Orleans, we can definitely tell you where we went!

We only went for a weekend, but with the rain drowning us 1 day, we had to shove everything in.

Places to go:

City Park: You can get the best photos here and see the amazing Cypress trees with moss

French Quarter: Go see the river, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, the market, and walk around for hours.

Schedule a ride on the Mississippi River with dinner as well. These do fill up fast, especially on holidays.

Beignets at Cafe du Monde (though Cafe Beignet was actually my favorite)

Everything Cajun, Jambalaya, Po-boys, Gumbo, Etouffee, CORNBREAD UPSIDE DOWN! We had two breakfasts one day, then decided to walk 15K steps before lunch before buying a Jazzy Pass to ride the trolley.

We also did the cemetery tour ourselves, because it was freezing cold and we couldn’t force ourselves on the three hours.
